Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella celebrates major cancer milestone

Eight months after receiving her brain tumor diagnosis, Isabella Strahan is celebrating the final round of chemotherapy.

The 19-year-old shared videos of the special day on TikTok and YouTube. Her father, Michael Strahan also shared a clip of the big day on his Instagram.

“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way!”

Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023 after suffering from headaches for a month during her first year of college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Upon receiving the diagnosis, she underwent emergency surgery, followed by two additional procedures.

The daughter of the former NFL star and current Good Morning America co-host has been documenting her journey with cancer on social media.

While explaining the pain of chemotherapy, the college student said she would “prefer radiation” or even “brain surgery” because both were less painful.

“Everything hurts,” she said.

“My eyes are strained. They hurt to look to the sides. My whole mouth feels like I got one giant root canal of my whole mouth of every single tooth and just ripped out and not even surgically put back in.”

A few short months after telling her followers that the number of chemotherapy sessions had been reduced from six to four, Isabella shared that her fourth round of chemotherapy was “not bad at all.”

On the final day of treatment, Isabella was greeted by a line of supporters, which included her twin sister Sophia, her dad, his girlfriend Kayla Quick, and her mom Jean Muggli.

Confetti filled the air as Isabella walked towards the bell to ring it three times while saying, “Ring this bell, three times well, its toll to clearly say, my treatment’s done, this course is done, and I am on my way!”

Watch the special moment in the video below.

Congratulations, Isabella! May you continue to heal so you can return to college this upcoming fall.

Please share to keep Isabella in your prayers.
